Love this place! I eat here almost every time I'm in town for business. Sometimes I'll go with sushi, sometimes with the Thai food - either way, it's always great. Oh, and just fyi, every day happy hour BOGO draft beers!

  • *****

Try the Burmese chicken noodle soup. It is delicious with a decent sized portion. The tea leaf appetizer was great. Service was good.

I visited Fuze for the first time last night. I food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend. When I ordered my Pad Thi it was to hot to taste, they offered to remake. It was brought out right away. It was the best I've had in a long time. We like to try different restaurants in our area and I have to say Fuze rates an A+ on our list.

Stopped in on a whim. Very pleased that I did. Having never had Burmese food before I was not sure what to try. The staff was great and they made a couple of fantastic suggestions. Try tea leaf salad and the sushi. Very good choices

I went to Fuze Asian Grille while staying in Buffalo during a business trip and it was easily one of the best Asian restaurants I have been to in that area. I don't know if its normal but our waitress really went our of her way to to walk us through almost every dish on the menu. Some might have probably found that odd but you could tell she was trying really hard to help us make make a good choice based on what we like. I thought it was sweet.

I ordered the Pad Thai and a Thai iced tea. Both were very delicious, you could totally taste the quality. The price quantity ratio was also good, there was definitely enough to satisfy.

Overall Fuze had great food, great service at a reasonable price. If I am ever back in that area I would visit again.

supreme quality and great taste.. fresh veggie rolls lived up to their name, Burmese samosa was pretty good, Tom yom soup was yumm and pad Thai was delicious.. great customer service.. overall delightful experience. will go back!

Asked the server for what to eat. Had a great salad for appetizer and an amazing fried rice.

I always enjoy coming to Fuze. The food is fresh, service is good, and it doesn't break the bank. Fuze never disappoints!

Awesome restaurant week experience! Just went here tonight for dinner with hubby for date night. They were doing a 3 course thing for $20.18. So we each got one. Hubby got the special sushi chef creation with miso soup and the mango salad and dessert. I got the seaweed salad and the chicken pumpkin coconut curry and dessert. The dessert was a sort of Turon filled with mango sticky black rice. Everything was absolutely delicious!!
We actually had most of my curry as left overs cuz it was so much food but we ended up breaking into it again as a night time snack while we watched hocus pocus at home lol. Not even a morsel survived!! So glad to have tried this place finally after passing by many times. Will def be adding it to the regular rotation ;)

Came for dinner during restaurant week and ordered the Mango Salad, Sushi Chef Creation (Crab Rangoon with Salmon Roll and Miso Soup), and Mango Spring Roll.

I'll get the negatives out of the way, since there weren't many and they were relatively minor. Probably the biggest disappointment was that the Fried Banana with Ice Cream dessert was unavailable, so the wife and I ended up both having to get the Mango Spring Roll, which was good but unspectacular. The Mango Salad was also good but not the best I've had.

The sushi roll was one of the main reasons for the 5 star rating. The fish could have looked fresher I guess, but when a specialty roll has so much going on, the freshness of the fish is not paramount IMHO. Anyway, the roll was huge and tasted amazing. The black rice looked and tasted great, and the cream cheese, avocado, and crab salad made it super creamy and decadent. This was the best roll I've had in a while.

My wife ordered the Pumpkin Stew (with chicken) for an entree, and as good as the sushi roll was, this dish stole the show! There was a ton of chicken and pumpkin and the flavor was totally on point. Somehow it got even better when eaten as leftovers.

Overall it was a really great meal, and it restored our confidence in restaurant week after a couple of fails. We'll definitely be back to explore the regular menu!

  • *****

Happy Restaurant Week! The mango salad and green tea salad were very tasty, bursting with flavor and texture. Pork tenderloin was exceptional. Black rice mango roll was the perfect end to the meal. Staff extremely kind and attentive, though the kitchen was slow.

  • *****

We ordered the fried whole red snapper, coconut based soup and fried sushi. Everything was excellent. My only complaint was the server brought the appetizer at the same time as the main course. She was having a conversation with another person while holding the food.

  • *****

I ordered the Burmese chicken fried rice. SO good!! They give you a large portion. I got the food to go and enjoyed it in my hotel across the street.

  • *****

Wow! I ordered a lot of food to try and it was all amazing. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know. This would be my new favorite spot if I didn't live so far away

  • *****

Best Asian/Thai place around. Pad Thai is the best in WNY hands down. The fried sushi roll is incredible. Very very slow service but the food is fantastic

    Want to enjoy this place?
Sit at the front of the sushi bar and watch them make the delicious food and wonderful cocktails - all made fresh to order and with delicate care.
I was on business and ate there two nights in a row and was glad I did.
Get the Mohinga or traditional Burmese soup - it's comfort good. I regret not getting the fried sushi because it looks awesome. I also enjoyed the fresh spring roll with avacado, lettuce, chicken and shrimp all tucked nicely into rice paper. Also - these are nice people, the service is discreet but excellent. Loved everything about Fuze - the food, drinks answered service. I'll miss it.

  • *****

So I only took photos of drinks, but that's because I was enjoying the meal too
much to stop and take pictures!
We ordered the mango salad, nigiri sushi, Burmese fried rice and Thai basil fried rice. For dessert,Black rice and mango. Everything was delicious and so fresh! The owner and staff were so accommodating and spent time at our table chatting with us. Beautiful decor and very authentic food and atmosphere. Our son toured UB and if he decides to attend, this will be a regular spot for our family when we visit!!

Happy hour every day from 4-8. Even holidays. Gotta love that. And the bar area is great. In fact, I liked the whole layout of this place. It was really nice.

The menu is Thai, Burmese and sushi I think. I ate Burmese. An app that was easily enough for a meal or app for 2 to share. And it was awesome. Forgot the name though. Noodles and chicken with more.

They have quite a few beers on tap, including Sapporo, always nice. Plenty of bottle choices too, and of course a full bar.

I found the service on point and pleasant. Not sure what the other yelpers are experiencing, but I found it easy and timely.

    Easy parking.

Based on recommendations from Yelp, I ordered chicken paratha (Burmese layered flatbread w chicken and potato curry), the tempura shrimp, and the Fuze fried sushi roll. Everything was fantastic! On a previous visit I ordered samosas and they were also delicious. The only negative was the mojito which was a little too sweet.

  • *****

A must visit. The hospitality was outstanding, but most importantly, I am very particular about the taste of good food; and wow... this restaurant left me speechless. For the first time, I finished my plate. I'll definitely stop here again in my travels. Thanks...

We were looking for a different Asian experience than our normal with the caveat that it was close to our route home. We had passed The Fuze several times and I had always wondered about the experience. Tonight being the matriarchs birthday and her favorite food Asian (Thai) we made the impulsive decision to give it a go. We were greeted and seated promptly, this being a week night and a bit early yet. They have a generous 4-8 happy hour(s) so drinks were cheap. We ordered veg tempura and chicken satay apps. Both were plentiful and very well done. With good dipping sauces and a light batter in the tempura. Entrees included pad Thai and pad kee mow both with chicken. They were very tasty large enough portions for the next days lunch. The service was friendly and attentive. I have nothing bad to say about the place or the experience. We will return now knowing that we do not have to go very far off our normal drive path for a decent experience. Well done.

  • *****

All this review really needs to say is "black rice deep fried tuna sushi roll". But beyond that everything was above and beyond with flavor and presentation. Absolutely excellent choice for a solo lunch or entertaining business partner for dinner, or even for a family birthday celebration. Get a couple deep fried sushi's for the table and go from there. Be sure to try the black rice dessert too. Amazing! Unique!! Awesome experience.

  • *****

This place was just right. I came in at 9, they close at 10p, the service was still superb. Food tasted fresh. I would come again if ever in Buffalo.

  • *****

This is definitely a very different restaurant from what you're used to. They blend the foods of 3 cultures in to one menu. There are a wide variety of foods for everyone's taste. There are lots of options for vegetarians as well. The food is awesome as is the service. You'll love this place.

  • *****

Best Burmese, Thai food I tried in my life. For real the Burmese Food they make is the best Burmese food I’ve ever tried, like the tea salad, the ginger salad or the Burmese chicken with Rice, are OMG, soooo delicious. The person who made the Burmese food knows how to play with flavours and spices I would give this restaurant a 100 starts if I can, also the restaurant had authentic Burmese design and it was beautiful. Great place I highly Recommend it. ?????

  • *****

Enjoyable experience, great relaxing atmosphere, very nice waitress/front desk. I had the curry which was great. I'd never had curry before to compare to but it was perfect at medium heat level and I like spicy stuff.

  • *****

The food was delicious. I ordered it hot and it was a good spice level for me. Great mix of Burmese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese! We'll be back for sure!

  • *****

Sometimes you have to try a place a few times to figure out what good dishes they have. I came here during their opening week and wasn't too impressed by the chicken coconut noodle soup that I got. But I recently went back to give Fuze another try and wow!!

This time we got chicken paratha and deep fried sushi roll as appetizers. Both were very delicious. I do wish we got more bread for the chicken paratha. For main dishes we got burmese chicken fried rice, house special roast duck, pad thai, and beef potato curry. I highly recommend the burmese chicken fried rice - it's a very unique dish and definitely worth a try. The other dishes were all delicious as well.

The decor in the restaurant is also very unique. There are booths that make the restaurant feel more fancy, but there are also tables that make you feel like your eating in middle of a nice village.

The service is also great, I am allergic to squid and we don't eat mussels, so we asked for our seafood pad thai to be made without squid and mussels. They were very good about making sure there was no contamination.

The price is great too, especially considering the amount of food you get. There are plenty of college student friendly dishes as well as fancier more expensive dishes for those with thicker wallets.

Overall I'm really glad I gave Fuze another try. I see myself coming back here quite often.

  • *****

Excellent service - the staff is friendly & helpful when explaining the menu. The spicy Penang curry sauce was excellent with black rice. The wife enjoyed her Burmese chicken fried rice & the black rice California roll proved to be a good appetizer. We'll be back

  • *****

The service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. The flavor combinations were delightful. We’ll definitely be back.

  • *****

Excellent service and even better food! I was there twice in one week. Thai on Monday and sushi on Wednesday for their BOGO special. Generous portions - enough for lunch the next day both times. I highly recommend it!

I brought my boyfriend here for dinner to celebrate his birthday. I was on the fence because reviews lately have mentioned horrible service and wasn't sure we should risk it. But it was 5 o'clock on a Saturday and we figured why not. I'm glad we gave them a chance! Service and food were pretty good.

My boyfriend started with the Tom Kha soup w/chicken and I had the Tom Yum w/tofu. Both were delicious and served piping hot. We both ended up ordering the Pad Kee Mow (his with pork, mine tofu, medium spicy). Either the spice level on my boyfriend's was much more than mine or my taste buds were already burned out that day. He was sweating and mine had a barely noticeable kick. Our pot of tea was promptly refilled with hot water when asked, bill came quickly, dirty dishes taken away in a short amount of time. All in all, we had a nice time and were glad we went.

  • *****

Soooo good!! I’m typically a steak guy but tried something new and different and am so pleased I did! Great service, delicious food, artistic presentation. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

  • *****

Have been to Fuze one time for dinner and will definitely be back.

Everything my boyfriend and I got was amazing and priced fairly. The Thai salad was unique, fresh and crunchy. The coconut soup was really creamy and full of flavor. I usually don't like deep fried rolls but we got their speciality with black rice and yellow tail and it was amazing. My boyfriend got the fried chicken and it was very crispy with a curry flavor that he really liked. The sticky rice for dessert was really good but a bit small.

If you go during happy hour, they have $5 cocktails or buy one get one beer, which is awesome. My boyfriend got two Sapporo's for $4 and I got a Pina colada which was really good.

  • *****

I went on a Friday during lunch time. They had lemon infused water. They had a lunch specials menu or the regular menu to look through.

I ordered the thai basil fried rice with tofu. I selected medium spice. I would say I think some bites were more spice than others and it could have been more evenly distributed. They had other spices levels the hottest being the thai hot which they consider hotter than the regular hot.

My meal was good. The tofu was nice and golden on the outside. The vegetables in the dish were nicely cut. I had a small portion left over and I was given an appropriately sized to go box.

The inside is nicely decorated. The people at my table also enjoyed their meals too. The waitstaff was excellent at refilling waters.

  • *****

If you are looking for Thai, Burmese, or Sushi around Buffalo you would be doing yourself an injustice going anywhere else. Their food and service is top notch!

  • *****

The interior looked amazing. I ordered Terayaki Chicken and it was also amazing. The Deep Fried Sushi was phenomenal too. I didn’t think deep fired sushi would be good at first but it definitely blew my expectations away. We also ordered Burmese Chicken Coconut Noodle Soup and it didn’t disappoint. The Staff was nice and friendly. They were really attentive too. Overall a wonderful place and everything was better than I expected. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for amazing Asian food.

  • *****

Happy hour drinks were delicious, sharable appetizers were tasty. Main courses.. we were asked how spicy and they worked hard to keep it on the more mild side. Overall a very nice dinner

  • *****

The reviews are legit! Amazing food with awesome flavor. We started off with the Burmese Ginger Salad and were not disappointed. A great combination of flavors and textures. The Cozy Thai Dumplings were tasty and melt in your mouth. We also had a house specialty Deep Fried Sushi Roll with tuna, and it had 10 large pieces for $10. Tasty.

Lastly ... we read about the staffing issues, and they are working hard to be profitable, and provide good service. As you can see in the pictures that I posted, they have installed “Call Buttons” at each table! Give them a break ... it’s delicious and very affordable! I’d come back here any time!

  • *****

Great food and service. Had the traditional Burmese salad and red curry. Delicious! Thanks Susu!

  • *****

The duck roast was amazing. Sauces on the side had a good kick to it. My wife had ordered chicken and potato curry which was also tasty.

  • *****

Despite it's close location to UB, I've never tried Fuze until recently and I was extremely impressed.

We had the mango salad, fresh spring rolls, chicken satay, deep fried roll, and the yellow submarine.

The mango salad was very fresh and I did not feel gross after eating it. It was actually very refreshing. The spring rolls were tasty, although I must admit 99 Fast Food has the best rolls. The chicken satay was super tasty! I really enjoyed the dipping sauce. The deep fried roll was really good and filling. Finally, the yellow submarine was FANTASTIC! It was our favourite of all.

Overall, I would come back. I highly recommend the mango salad and yellow submarine roll. The others were nice too, but you can't beat the two I just mentioned.

  • *****

The food is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

  • *****

Amazing, fresh, delicious and delightful service from an amazing, friendly and courteous staff. 10 out of 10, would reccomend!

  • *****

What a great find! We had vegetable samosas, Penang curry, chicken fried rice and 2 for 1 draft beer all delicious! Will definitely be back!

  • *****

Management was great. They explained what they were making and answered all my questions. Everything was fresh. I will be back next time in Buffalo.

  • *****

The wait time is slow but TOTALLY worth it for the food which was FANTASTIC! Loved the sushi burrito, Burmese fried rice, and tea leaf salad! Great for a night out with friends!

  • *****

This is the spot right here! Amazing Burmese food however I've never tried the Japanese food here. The waitresses are chill but they have a very hard time understanding English, which can be frustrating at times but at the same time probably why the food and atmosphere is great! I highly recommend this place its one if the best, if not the best, Burmese restaurant in WNY.

  • *****

Nice little find for restaurant week! Had the mango salad, the sushi burrito with salmon and banana spring roll with vanilla ice cream. Boyfriend had the same except had a black rice salad instead. Everything was delicious!!

  • *****

My. God. This place is off the wall amazing. Always look forward each year to eating here when at our convention. Amazing price, really good drinks, and AMAZING FREAKING FOOD!! Like serious. The signature roll is to die for. The perfect crunch and flavor. And the scallop Pad Thai is to die for!! Will always come here as long as I can!! And that’s what I call a volcano roll!

  • *****

Just ordered sushi from here for pickup, first time trying this restaurant. The fish tasted very good and fresh, I got salmon, roe, and octopus nigiri and an eel roll. The ginger and wasabi was good, although the rice was a little soggy and mushy. It was close to closing when I placed my order, so its understandable. Would definitely go again and sit down and try out the rest of their menu!

  • *****

I tried the Spider Roll and the dumplings. Both were crafted with excellent skill. I suggest trying the Hot Bermese Milk Tea, especially during the colder months.

  • *****

We were there last night and the food was EXCELLENT!! <3 We definitely will be going back there. It was a very enjoyable experience.

  • *****

I come here each time I'm in Buffalo! It's got such a great menu for Thai options and of course sushi! The signature roll there is great and I totally recommend it. I've gotten tofu pad Thai here twice; the tofu isn't really great here more bland and tasteless. However the noodles, veggies, and spices are good. I got the Thai hot level of spice this time and was very happy. Spicy is my favorite. I also tried a red wine to go along with dinner and it was nice. Prices are reasonable and you get good portions. This place is worth the stop if you're in the area or passing thru!

  • *****

Great Asian food place near UB North campus. Good ambience and service. They gave a good enough quantity for the cost

  • *****

My first time here was great! Their Thai iced tea is AMAZING- definitely would recommend! The waitress was very kind and visited the table often to check on how we were doing.
A very comfortable atmosphere and welcoming staff!

  • *****

Great food and great service. Had a wonderful time during the three times I went. Service was excellent and food was superb, the deep fried sushi rolls are to die for!! The place can get a bit busy at times and I always hear some sort of yelling coming from the kitchen, but overall it's a great place to try a mix of different Asian food.

    Would recommend to anyone!!

  • *****

Foods tried Chicken Teriyaki, Spring Rolls, Deep Fried Dumplings and Deep Fried Sushi! All Fantastic! Going to go back to try the drinks!

  • *****

Don't miss this gem! We walked over from the Marriott next door and found Fuze, a wonderful spot for a delicious meal at reasonable prices. The tom yum soup was filling and spicy. The Burmese samosas were a hit, and chicken paratha was flavorful, with delicious flaky bread. I also loved the delectable beef salad, which was a nice portion. Our daughter had a sushi roll and chicken satay, which both disappeared.
The service was warm and water was refilled regularly, something I'm always watching. I wish I lived nearby to eat here regularly. I'd be here every week!

  • *****

Food was exceptional as well as the service. Very diverse menu. Staff was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

  • *****

Delicious food , great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Loved it

  • *****

I love this place. It's a bit pricey for a college student but their fried egg noodle is amazing. And they always remember to keep certain foods out of my dish when I tell them my allergy. Some places have cross-contamination problems, but not this one!

  • *****

Great food & service, quaint atmosphere

  • *****

Wow, great find and amazing food. Very unique Burmese and Thai dishes. The black Rice sushi is amazing mmmmmmmmm

Amazing service, the food was amazing as well. The presentation was out of a magazine. Will definitely go here again!

  • *****

This place had really good food, but what set it apart was they went above and beyond to accommodate our family with two small children. VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY, beyond what I think is to be expected. Thank you for the great experience. Fuze has earned itself a frequent repeat customer.

  • *****

Just had a business lunch here and all I can say is WOW! We all ordered different items and shared some of the freshest flavors ever! Great service too! Let is the ultimate host in a warm inviting environment! Highly recommend this place!

Pricey but delicious food and good service! Love their samosas and chicken curry with parhata

    Nice presentation. Clean comfortable place.

The service is excellent, the food is always delicious, the prices are good, and the atmosphere is awesome. I’ve been a repeat customer..... love the Tom Kha Soup, the Sushi Rolls, and the Pad Thai are all amazing. We will return. Love Thai food and we were not disappointed. Staff was efficient and friendly but not overbearing. We had 3 different appetizers and 2 entrees. They were all tasty! The sushi looked good but we were not in the mood. Will try that next time.

Excellent food, service and atmospher... Great prices... love it!!!

Great little place! Great decor! Sushi was really fresh! I live out of town but will come here every time I'm in Buffalo!

On business saw this from the street had to try. I ordered the catfish stew it was perfect, I ordered "Thai Hot" it was HOT, exactly what I expected. What I didn't expect was there were tempura looking items in my stew that I thought was catfish that was instead fried zucchini. Disappointed? No! Delicious just not real sure I ever saw any chunks of catfish (1 reason not a 5). Nonetheless the flavor was awesome would definitely order again. And BTW enough for dinner I ordered this and an entree and it was too much. I also ordered the Eggplant special which when you read the description is with shrimp. Now I would t expect a lot of shrimp other than the fact it was priced like it was. I counted ,4 shrimp( partially the reason this is a 4). The eggplant was very good but NOT THAI hot compared with the stew (inconsistent) and a bit oily maybe oil was not as hot as it should've been. Look I'm looking for perfection for a 5 star , food is excellent worth a try highly recommend catfish stew maybe pass on the eggplant special and order something someone else recommended. Lastly beer prices are SUPER cheap $4.50 and wine is reasonable at $7-$8. I wish these guys a lot of luck, worth the trip for catfish stew alone!

  • *****

Love this place! Tuna roll was great! Pad Thai pretty standard. Panang curry was very good! Definitely will return. Lots of choices on the menu. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Good, friendly service!

  • *****

Excellent food, great service. We had sushi, two types of soup, and entrees. My husband went Burmese and I went Thai. Everything was very good. I have been here before and I definitely will be back!

  • *****

A little gem. Authentic foods and staff willing to make good suggestions. I just hope it survives. It was rather dead for dinner when we visited.

  • *****

Superb customer service coupled with uniquely flavored cooking. Our family of six with kids thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. We ordered the crispy whole fish, beef curry, Burmese appetizers, salad, noodle soup, and Burmese fried rice. Everything was prepared with love and top chef flair from plating to seasoning. As foodies, we are often surprised by what we find in a small town. This place sure seems like a hidden gem.

  • *****

They made the most authentic Chicken Ohn No Khao Swe'(Burmese coconut chicken noddle soup). I will be back, Fuze!

  • *****

I have been here twice now and both times the food was great! The fact that I was able to order sushi and Burmese food was a bonus! The sushi was reasonably priced and fresh. I ordered the Burmese Chicken Fried Rice which was in fact a big portion and delicious! The fried egg on top of the rice was perfect. Where the yolk melts down! The chicken was crispy and the fresh broccoli and carrots were a great touch. Both times I went, I brought my 19 month old son who was very antsy and restless. Both times, the waitresses/maybe owner? have accommodated us (by bringing crayons and paper; complimentary ice cream) to help him (and I) through our meal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating for sure! I highly recommend!

  • *****

Love the fried sushi roll !!! Great Pad Thai and tom yum soup. This is a must try restaurant.

  • *****

Amazing food, so fresh and flavorful! I loved that they let me add spice to my own curry (I like it HOT!). Very friendly service, clean fun environment. I'm in town once a week on business and I will definitely be coming back! Oh, and did I mention 2 for 1 draft beers?

  • *****

Very good food in a nice setting. I started with the samosa salad and it was delicious. I ordered it medium spicy and it had a nice kick to it. After being so pleased with the salad I was really looking forward to the duck. While it was very tasty, it wasn't deboned and was very hard to eat, especially with chopsticks. Maybe if there were knives on the table it would have been easier. But I still enjoyed it.

  • *****

Love the service great people and I highly support the growing Burmese population in Buffalo.

  • *****

Stopped in because it was near my hotel - awesome dinner with fancy drink. Great service! menu has Thai, Burmese, and Sushi. The fried dumplings were amazing - nice and light and crispy. Would return again when in town!

  • *****

Pleasantly surprised. They were pretty empty when we came in on a Friday evening so was a little skeptical. But dinner was fantastic! Great servers and food came out efficiently. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

  • *****

Wow! What great food! The tea leaf salad was different and delightful. Pad Thai was delicious; the server told us it wasn't spicy and she was right. Deep fried sushi roll was really, really tasty. I am so glad this restaurant is here, we will be back often!

  • *****

Had lunch here today w a few friends. First a disclaimer. The place just opened & is still in the "soft opening" phase. No lunch menu or credit cards yet, but there is a bar. Overall the food was good. I had the Burmese samosas & catfish soup & both were excellent. The soup went from good to great after adding in some flaked red pepper. The only complaint in our group was that a curry dish was light on curry.

Overall though, this looks like a promising new restaurant featuring Burmese, Thai and Japanese selections.

Outstanding! I have eaten here at least five times and had take out as well. The food was super tasty and elegantly presented every time. The service is great and always friendly. I highly recommend the Deep-fried sushi roll! Also the Thai iced tea.

Phenomenal! Just ordered takeout tonight and it's amazing. I got the Burmese chicken and fried rice. So delicious that I am writing a review...which I haven't done yet! The takeout was quick and everyone working was super friendly. Great atmosphere, great food, and awesome Thai iced tea. This is my second time here, came a couple weeks ago and ordered Chicken Pad Thai. Also fantastic, can't wait to try the sushi next! :)

This review is long overdue: I live across the street and have been patiently waiting for them to open so I dined here with a few other people the first week they opened.

We ordered a good mix of appetizers and entrees from the thai and Burmese menu. Everything was DELICIOUS!

We didn't order anything from the Japanese menu but they brought is a few things to sample on the house and it was also very good.

    Can't wait to go back!

Amazing! Owner is so friendly, their Panang curry is out of this world and it's a pretty big portion. Pad Thai and Tom yum soup also very good. The decor here is very cute and makes you feel like you are on vacation. When I got take out I ordered a Thai iced tea (a must!!) and they waited to make it until I arrived to make sure it was fresh and not watered down from ice melting.

My husband and I came here during local restaurant week. He got the $20.17 Thai dinner and I got the Burmese dinner.

First off, the decor is beautiful. Much attention to detail was given to create an escape-like feeling. The music complemented the decor.

The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The highlight for me was the Burmese tofu salad. The tofu was prepared with a delicate breading, sauted in broth. I would come back just for that. My husband raved about the Pad Thai.

Finally/ the service was terrific and everyone was super friendly. This place is a gem.

We have been to cozy Thai so we were excited to try Fuze. We got the Burmese samosas to start, which were delicious. I got the Pad Kee Mow and agree with another reviewer that it was very good but could use a bit more spice. Best part - $4 draft beers. An IPA on draft that cheap is hard to find. Would definitely return to try more Burmese specials as opposed to Thai. Overall the meal was great and the service was good as well.

Went with another couple and had a wonderful evening.
    Service was prompt and friendly.
Food was amazing, the crispy whole fish is a must try.
A whole red snapper with pineapple and vegetables and topped with a sweet and spicy chili sauce. Wow.
Nice variety of beer and wines at great prices.
    Can't wait to return.

A five star, clean & relaxing atmosphere, especially for dinner. I had sushi and it was very good with a beautiful presentation. Surprisingly I was the only customer at opening time around 4.
The price points are slightly high for the lunch crowd perhaps, but very reasonable for dinner.
I think they would benefit from having a limited lunch menu that would allow them to compete with comparable restaurants in terms of pricing.
The staff was very nice and attentive.
I would definitely give Fuze a try and I know I will be back in the future.

five stars and I never give out that many - amazing food - nice place - not expensive - Asian - Japanese - Thai- Burmese - great draft beer- if you like something eastern you will love it

Great new place in Amherst with a comfortable vibe, burnt orange walls set the mood for a relaxing and well presented dinner. We sat where we liked at a meticulously set table with the glasses and silverware shining. Tonight I chose the spring roll appetizer which came out 3 on a plate. These may have been the best spring rolls I ever had, so delicately wrapped in a tissue paper thin layer of rice paper that melts in your mouth while still having a nice crunch. Then I was on to the "Crazy double roll", - salmon, avocado and spicy sauce on the inside topped with more fish, seared and topped with salmon eggs, scallions and spicy sauce. The fish tasted fresh, complimented by that great spicy sauce drizzled on top presented on a tea leaf with the usual wasabi and ginger, and they don't skimp on the ginger either .Service was friendly and on point and the place also has a private lot right in front.

First visit for lunch today during restaurant week. What a great find! Very pleasant and clean place w relaxing music. Our party of 4 was seated right away at a booth. Staff was smiling and very friendly. I was happy to see many gluten free options on the menu (clearly marked too). The food was beautifully presented and tasted very fresh and delicious. We all really enjoyed our meals. We had the (GF) Thai Basil Fried Rice w Chicken, Chicken Coconut Noodle Soup, and (GF) Chicken Penang Curry. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Try the deep fried sushi roll, you won't regret it. The wait staff was very friendly, wonderful service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, really feels like a burmese/Japanese restaurant.

I came to this adorable, family-run restaurant by UB a few weeks ago with a few friends. I was really excited to see a Burmese/Thai restaurant open up in the Northtowns and just next to UB. Walking in, they have some nice decor that suits the Burmese-Thai menu. Everyone from the hostess to the server was very kind and you could tell immediately it would have a home-y feel to it. My party ended up sharing the Burmese dumplings and I ordered the catfish soup. They also had a nice selection of Thai and Burmese drinks and I ended up going with the classic Thai Iced Tea which was made really well. I've never had this style of main dish before but it was quite tasty. I do not know if it will be my favorite dish enough to re-order it again, but I think that is more of my personal preference as to how the noodles were cooked in the soup. The other flavors in the dish were quite unique and it was enjoyable to try something you do not eat on a daily basis.

The one thing that will really draw me again to this place is that they treat customers with a home-y feel that just makes you feel all fuzzy inside. They also serve unique foods you can try that you cannot find elsewhere, at least in the Northtowns. I would love to come back to try some of the other unique items on their menu.

Located in the old Jacks place. Stopped in for a quick lunch today and wow. I had potato and chicken curry. Well seasoned and flavorful. I drank the broth to finish it when I ran out of rice...because it was delicious, not because I'm a fat kid. I will be back to check more out off the menu!

  • *****

Ordered pad Thai for take out. All the staff was very nice and friendly and the food came out super quick. The pad Thai was very good and had a large enough portion to save for 2 meals. I will come back!

  • *****

Very tasty and reasonably priced. I had pad kee mow and shared a delicious samosa salad with my wife. Both were spicy - the salad with just enough kick to make it tasty but not so much as to overpower my wife's palate. The pad kee mow was smoking hot. The also had pints of 12 Gates IPA for $4 and it was happy hour so they were two for one. I'll be back.

This place is fantastic!! We are in town to move my daughter into UB and have been here twice already!
The traditional Burmese catfish soup was absolutely delicious. We were a little wary of trying it but are so glad we did! The combination of flavors were magnificent. We also had the crispy duck and pad Thai. The duck was crispy and delicious as was the pad Thai. Highly recommend this place!

Super dooper good place! We ordered take out to eat in our hotel and my goodness It was exactly what we needed. Might be the best Thai summer rolls I have ever had. And the lady that works there is adorabley sweet. Highly recommend

I love the food here! I was in town for the week staying at the Comfort Inn nearby and my assistant and I ate here almost everyday. He ordered the Burmese Chicken Fried Rice 3 times! I really enjoyed the Volcano Sushi roll with black rice. The entire staff was pleasant and I highly recommend eating here or ordering take out.

I think this is One of the best Burmese fusion restaurant in US.
The decoration is excellent and the ambience is perfect. I like the temple photos on the wall.
The Servers are attentive and very polite.
We tried two appetizers. Mango salad and seaweed salad. Both. Are delicious but I preferred mango salad.
Three of us shared our main course as family style.
Kat kyee kite (flat rice noodle fry), chicken palata and deep fried sushi. All are excellent.
They opened only 2 months ago and the main Chef introduced himself as one of the owner.
I will come and try more dishes next time.

Started this review in April, after stopping in here while picking my daughter up from UB for spring break. What a great secret surprise. Thai and Burmese and Sushi - who knew? We all tried different menu items, and shared amongst ourselves to experience the great variety of tastes. All were hot, fresh, and delicious!

Have been there two more time since, and Fuze continues to deliver. On Friday (for sophomore year move-in), we enjoyed a 2-for-1 sushi roll special, the red curry with tofu, and a spicy Pah Thai. All so so good. To top it off, the staff are always super friendly and super courteous. It all adds up to a great experience, and what I'm sure will be an ongoing tradition for our family through these college years.

This place has promise. Technically they are not fully open yet, their official opening is early March. However, their menu looks excellent. I've never tried Burmese food before and it looks delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is very cool, with a large sushi bar showcased in the middle of the restaurant.

We had a sushi boat with chefs choice. It was fresh and very good. The servers were attentive, however you could tell they were working on a flow for the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back in a few months once they are fully up and running!

Visiting and staying at Marriott, was in walking distance. GREAT CHOICE

Had the deep fried sushi, was a change...but I want mine raw.

It was excellent though, I just want to keep sushi raw.

Service was outstanding.....i highly recommend this place.

Nice service, food a little pricey considering they don't have lunch menu. Thai is a little on the sweeter side if you compare it to other places. However, portion is good because I couldn't finish.

It's spelled Fuze in the front so people might get confused when they put in gps.

They gave me a free fried sushi roll to try since it's grand opening. I will update my review on how it tastes.

Great interior and decent food. Their Burmese fried rice with chicken is superb. Their thai dishes are okay, but you can get more for the price at jasmines. They have a wide selection of other Burmese food that I'm willing to come back for.

Solid Choice for South Asian food right near campus!

I was planning to go here for a long time as this place is located less than 100 feet from my apartment!! So when my parents came here from India, I couldn't find a better opportunity to go there as they never tried Burmese. We ordered Burmese salad and Thai seafood salad. The Burmese salad was a surprise. It had fried chickpeas, cashews and peanuts and was really good. The Thai seafood salad had really yummy dressing with all different types of seafoods. For the main course we ordered Pad kee maw and the Burmese chowder noodles soup (moh hin gah). Both of these was very delicious but the quantity was disappointing. Compared to the price, the quantities of the main dishes were really small. For the dessert we ordered Burmese black rice with mango and it was really delicious!!! Overall a really nice experience.

This is the most consistent Asian restaurant in Buffalo. Their food is always fresh a delicious, the waitstaff is obliging and friendly, and the little touches and decor keep me coming back. I've only been to the restaurant once after my initial review, but I get their takeout every other week. My go to is their sushi burrito (with black rice, of course) and their pad kee mow. Both are special, but I try a lot of their different menu options and I've never had cause for complaint. You can even call a server to come to your table with a buzzer, which they probably hate but I love in case I've forgotten to ask for something (this is often). I wholeheartedly recommend it here to everyone I know. I'm happy to give them 5 stars now!

  • *****

Good ambiance, friendly staff, great menu. I had the spring rolls and pad see ew with scallops, both came with sauce on the side and it was delicious. My table got about 4 other dishes, all were pleased. Only downside I would say is we came at lunch and it was about a 45 minute wait from seated to entrees arriving which was a little pinched for us.

My husband came home raving about the black rice salad when he had at Fuze when lunching with a colleague one day. With that endorsement, how could I not go to Fuze to try it myself?

We've been to Fuze twice together now, and for the record, he's right about the black rice salad. There are so many things to like about it: the nutty black rice, the mango, the avocado, the sweet potato and the coconut sauce that brings it all together.

My one complaint is that it's only available in an appetizer size. I tried to make a meal out of one order of black rice salad and another appetizer, the samosa, but they didn't quite add up to a hearty lunch after a morning of biking.

We also went for dinner during Restaurant Week, when they were offering 4 course dinners for $20.17, with soup, salad, choice of one entree, and choice of dessert. I went with the Thai dinner menu, and had the Pad See Ew as my main and the black rice with mango as my dessert. The Pad See Ew was tasty. The dessert not so much-the rice was both mushy in parts and too chewy in others, and the mango wasn't quite ripe (though they're not in season now, so I'll forgive that). I did feel that we got our money's worth, since we waddled out feeling very full.

I would love it if Fuze offered Burmese entrees that are vegetarian-friendly. Many of the Burmese starters are, but none of the main dishes. The vegetarian-friendly entrees fall under the Thai category of their menu, unless you opt for vegetarian sushi rolls, or a bunch of appetizers.

But whether you're vegetarian or not, don't miss the black rice salad!

Walking in to the restaurant - there is definitely a welcoming environment. It's open and pretty big! I've come here multiple times since it has opened. I love the location of this restaurant being close to university and really a central hub not being far from the suburbs or Buffalo itself.

Onto the food! I love the Burmese flat ride noodles aka Kay kyay kite! They are seriously delicious (if you like pad kee mow you'll like this) - you can customize the level of spice.

I've also ordered their samosa (Burmese version) - which have a potato filling; these are alright and a bit bland for my taste.

The sushi options are great and I love their salmon sushi; it's generally fresh! I've also seen people order sushi boats here - look super good.

Once when we came during the Burmese new year we received a complimentary dessert! That was so nice! The staff is always friendly and welcoming which makes this a pretty great location for Burmese and Sushi needs!

We had the red curry with chicken, egg noodles with beef and teriyaki chicken. All of the meals were fantastic. The portions were all colorful and well portioned.

Also had chicken satay and the fried pork dumplings for appetizers. They were also very good, but these portions were small.

Sue sue was a great hostess and the food was prepared and delivered quickly. Nice and hot. Would recommend.

    Been here a few times.

Thai Food - Delicious. The curry is fantastic.
    Sushi - Delicious. Very fresh.
Fried Sushi roll - ORDER IT! DO IT NOW!
The Staff - Very nice people. Good service.
Price - on the expensive side but only because the portions are also large. I always end up having enough to eat more later.

Not much more to say. If you like Thai/Burmese/Sushi, go to this place. You will not regret it.

We went to check out this new place..the decor is good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered dishes from across the menu and everybody was very satisfied. The samosa starter is a must!We will definitely go there again.

The food here is fabulous! They have a variety of foods from different regions. Great for healthy and vegetarian. Nice atmosphere too! Definitely check it out - service is fantastic and it is very reasonable - a gem on Millersport :)

Ordered pad Thai for take out. All the staff was super nice and friendly. The food came out quickly and had a large enough portion for 2 meals. I will be coming back!

I share the feeling of many other reviewers. Fuze has wonderful food and a really nice ambiance. I wandered over from the Marriott and I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. Even the seaweed salad has a twist that made it better than other "cookie cutter" seaweed salads I've had in the past. The fried sushi roll was really good and the tuna was excellent.
